Our arrival to the glacier this morning was met with blue skies and sunny weather! Unfortunately ONE cloud decided to move in on us and sit there the rest of the day 🙁 Despite the low visibility, the athletes still did a great job on the “50” slope. We moved to the 50 slope for two more days of GS. It’s a great place to practice terrain changes as it starts out super steep for about five gates, then flat for about ten, and then an extremely abrupt breakover into five or six final steep gates (see pics below). It’s a challenging but fun hill and nice to switch it up a bit! For dryland we had an exciting soccer game led by MP and Maci. Looking forward to a sunnier day tomorrow!
